She ran from the silence. Now she's learning how to speak again. After escaping a life of control, exploitation, and pain, Janiah arrives in the small Southern town of Leeville with nothing but a backpack, a bruised heart, and a sliver of hope. At New Steps House, a transitional home for young women rebuilding their lives, Janiah finds herself surrounded by strangers who carry their own scars-and a quiet strength she's never known. Here, healing isn't loud. It's in the soft opening of a bedroom window. In letters folded with care. In the question, "Are you okay?" asked like it matters. But just as she begins to rebuild, a new girl arrives with a familiar look in her eyes-and Janiah must decide whether she'll just survive her past or step up to help someone else survive theirs. A powerful story of resilience, sisterhood, and reclaiming your voice, After the Silence is a soulful continuation of Janiah's journey toward freedom-and what it means to belong to yourself again.

{Sequel to My Little Firework} Sometimes a new beginning is even better than a happy ending, or so they say. After returning to her old life, Calliope Andrews decided to leave her time in Ohio behind for good. She found a boyfriend, got a stable job, and felt like life was finally looking up for her. That was until she ran into Leo at her new job as a bank teller in the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles. She wasn't prepared to face her fake life again, even if it was over two years ago when it happened. Will Callie be able to avoid Leo or will she fall for him all over again? *Contains moments of mature language and situations*

Summary: Read comes home to Santo Padre after 7 years away; longtime family friend of the Reyes' - comes to a fight night/ bonfire with the club. Angel and the reader have a heart to heart about things; she tells him the truth about her being gone and why she came home. (Crappy summary, lol - I swear I'll get better at these.) Warnings: Angst, If you squint there is a little bit of fluff towards the end. Heavy discussion of abuse and domestic violence. (crappy writing, maybe?) Word Count: 4076 (Sorry - it got a little long and out of control) A/N: I may not keep this story up - This is probably the most naturally flowing story I've ever written, probably because it hits too close to home for me. If you are domestic violence survivor I hope you know that you are strong, you are brave, you're beautiful and you DESERVE to be loved.
