TICKLESMYPICKLEs
It's the early 2000's in the Bronx. Like extremely early 00's, in fact the 00's had just begun. And it begun with the sound of soft strums, broken pieces of Dicen (Benny Sadel). Coming from a fire escape, and on that fire escape was a boy, and accompanying that boy was an acoustic guitar, gifted to him by his late father. The boy's name was Miguelin Cruz but people around his neighborhood nicknamed him Pequeno. Up until January 1st, 2000. On that gorgeous, extremely frosty night, he shed that nickname as Pequeno, scowling and cursing that nickname his father gave him. The death of the man that was supposed to inspire and guide him made him enraged. He decided a new name would fit, and since his display of the ability to play the guitar. The name Pequeno was left to someone new, and Miguelin grew recognized as Plata (Silver). From then on, he filled the streets of the BX or well, realistically, the street of 165th with music and some trouble. Miguelin wants to leave his predictable life behind. And start anew as a guitarist. However, some complicated things in his life are dug up when he crosses paths with an extremely troublesome group of kids, that use his musical charm to their advantage. Once he's all caught up with them, he realizes that his dream cant come true. Unless... he changes some things about himself and the world that surrounds him. Will the boy with the silver guitar live in his truth? Will he keep entertaining this facade? Or will he fall to expectations and crumble into an everyday nobody, that works a 9-5 office job like his mom hopes? It's up to you to find out.
