The first story of a fan-made Railway Series book with inspiration from the Thomas and Friends television series, "Boilers, Buffers, and Brotherly Love" features four stories of what family means to the engines on the island of Sodor, and how the engines come together to celebrate what means the most to them.

A Distant Memory Lingers In Edward's Past A Very Dark And Disturbing Memory On Furness In 1910 An Engine Named Anthony Tumbles Down The Mountain And Crashes After Crossing An Old Wooden Bridge And Crashing Through A Barricade And Crashes Into A Forest Violently Edward Could Only Watch As Anthony Suffered A Gruesome Fate.

Essentially, this is my idea for how the Donald and Douglas stories from Season 2 should have gone if the Missing Coach was adapted.

Donald has always looked out for his brother. When someone messes with Douglas, they also mess with Donald. One day, Douglas tells Donald he doesn't want Donald fighting his battles but, Donald feels unappreciated.
