SCA was founded in the year 2009 by an experienced and goal-oriented entertainment professional, Don Lichterman. SCA is an entertainment company that is dedicated to creating entertainment related products along with a non-profit organization to enhance the lives of wildlife, animals and people. Its commitment extends to helping local communities fostering better educational systems, supporting the arts and culture, helping disadvantaged youth, protecting and improving the environment and encouraging employee volunteerism.

Don Lichterman is the CEO and Founder of the Sunset Corporation of America (SCA). SCA and its companies aim at helping the disadvantaged youth, protecting animals and improving the environment and local communities, fostering better educational systems, supporting the arts and culture, and encouraging employee volunteerism. He is the Producer, Distributor of albums for the Animal Legal Defense Fund, The Dolphin Project, UNICEF & Ranger Road Military Charity Organization. Don Lichterman has once again shown his love and affection towards animals by highlighting how several infant elephants are being forced into captivity.

Don Lichterman started volunteering for the Grammy Organization / Recording Industry Association of America in the year 2017 and has been an active member ever since. He has played a major role in doing the advocacy representative work in order to implement the Allocation for Music Producers (AMP) act - an act that adds producers and engineers on certain copyrights and also, establishes the certainty of their royalty payments. His other goal as an associate was to update all the outdated consent decrees by way of Litigation with the Department of Justice.

From working with some of the top entertainment companies (Universal, PolyGram & Warner); receiving 13 multi P, Platinum and gold record awards; to founding his company, Sunset Corporation of America, Inc. for enhancing people's lives; Don Lichterman has many achievements to his name. He is also the author of two novels, 'Three Weeks in June' and 'Diary of a Ram Fan', and cleared the most music licensing in Warner Music history back in 2003.
