A book of short stories about Henry and Lilith. Not a sequel, but connected to my previous book "The Madness Of Love". Henry Winter x fem. oc (Some of these will be from Richard's point of view, some of them from third person's point of view.)

Here is the first chapter of my first novel ever. Inspired by the Dark Academia aesthetic and Donna Tartt's works, this work revolves around five students, artists-to-be in Belle Epoque Poland. Pawel arrives in Krakow from a village nearby to study at the prestigious Jagiellonian University where he will meet new friends but also his share of danger.

Starts off with some unexpected romantic moments they shared as druggie teens, then cuts to the aftermath of salvaging The Goldfinch and what that looks for their relationship as they journey through adulthood. Rated M for drug use, underage drinking, and sex. I'm not going to make it too too smutty or graphic. An alternate ending to the 2014 book "The Goldfinch" if Theodore Decker would've reacted in time and went to the big city together with Boris Pavlikovsky. I started writing this around the end of spring to the start of summer 2022, when my "The Goldfinch" obsession was peaking. By then, I'd only watched the movie once or twice and still hadn't gotten and read the book, so the fan fiction was based on my assumptions and headcanons, and most of the stuff written wasn't accurate to the book or even the movie. I won't be continuing this fanfic since I'm trying to focus on my own creativity and making up my own stories. I just thought it'd be fun to share, maybe for myself to look back on in the future. I apologize for the errors in the writing; my first language isn't English.

Richard feels horrible and his mask slip. They end up spilling their heart in their own way. (as for to whom is up to you to find out)

It's written by my perspective of an obsession towards fictional characters, as I'm sure most of us have that problem. (Boris Pavlikovsky is a character from the book 'The Goldfinch', so all rights to Donna Tartt for making such a beautiful character.)
