Grace Holmes gets recruited by Cecil after intervening in a monster attack and using her powers. During the monster attack Rex tries to make her leave but she ends up killing the monster before he does making him mad. due to his ego now being hurt Rex tries to make grace quite causing multiple fights between them. due to her powers being seemingly unstable due to her emotions Rex uses her weakness against her to to to make it seem like she was never meant to be a hero. But over the course of her being with the team things start escalating. her powers are becoming more unstable and Rudy is doing his best to help her manage them only to have all his experiments and contraptions fail. after one massive fight that causes over a million dollars in damages Cecil makes Rex and Grace work together and get over there childish rivalry or both get fired. but things aren't always what they seem. Things from Grace's past slow start coming to light making the team her powers are not the only problem in her life that she needs to worry about.

Patches also known as Dawn Hope Falls, was nine when she sold to the government at the nine Cecil tries to train her how to use her powers but she never uses her powers in front of him. no amount of harsh words could force her, not even near death experiences. She practices by herself when no one is watching. Her powers are simple, any nonliving flesh and bone thing she touches she can use the material to make a puppet out of by copying it. doesnt matter how small the patch is as long as it came from a nonliving thing she can use it. she cwn make shells and make pupets so perfect they can pass for the person she copied. But one day Rex Splode comes and things change. years later Patches rejoins the team but will she survive the new people on the team?
