He hands it to Mushitaro and they start to go through the old belongings of the author. Mushitarō finds an old notebook of Yokomizo's, he looks into it to find an unpublished murder mystery story. Ranpo outsmarted Yokomizo's scheme and manuscript before. But this mystery, it's like no other piece of writing before. As Mushitarō reads more of the manuscript, what's written becomes true. (Written post chapter 121, it starts from the time where Poe was first tasked to write a fake office for the agency.) A little depressing thing I wrote

An incident with those Powerpuff girls that resulted in one of them dying changed their lives forever. It felt like the world was spiraling out of control, but at the same time, it felt bearable. One changed into someone more caring and calm; but dazed and insecure. One became less rowdy, friendlier and chatty; but sad and emotional. One was resurrected into a new life to live as a poised, regal boy; but felt out of place where he was. It sure is a long and distressing rabbit hole.
