Do Not Cringe! This is The Book, if I had when I was 18, it would have saved me a lot of time, tears and energy. Looking back, I'd have done a lot better in life if I had lesser misconceptions about people and the world. I hope that this book can influence you to review your worldview, see more critically which choices and behaviors will benefit you and which will burden and harm you over time. Ya, there is a ton of content out there: videos on how to appear irresistible, pick-up, do-whatever-you-want-to people of the desired sex, and also all kind of self-help/ improvement/ motivational books. Then there is stuff which you cannot help get exposed to: the things you hear from people of your own age or from older people. But somehow in all this noise of confusing and contradictory messages, some very-important things get left out! I want this book to fill that void, it will be about factors that affect relationship of all kinds, be it family, social, friendly or romantic: things that prevent people from connecting to others, things that lead to distancing between two people who were close. I have attempted to explore the ideas at a general level so it can be useful for readers irrespective of culture, religion, gender, sexual orientation etc. I know people have their own views, some that are very different from mine, who won't be convinced by what I write here. But I want to reach out to those of you who are not satisfied with how you are doing or have not yet figured out how to deal with people or want to explore beyond what you have experienced so far, to all of you, I say: just try it out and experiment a few times, see what works for you. After you have read this book, I welcome all suggestion, complaint and criticism. Also I encourage healthy exchange of ideas between my readers, I want to you all to contribute to this book. Any relevant points distilled from these discussions will be incorporated and properly acknowledged in the future updates.
