Although situations can differ depending on the status of wealth, influence, and identity, all criminals share the same difficulties. Tae-Moon is no stranger to these dilemmas. After being released from one of many Seoul's juvenile detention centers, he's faced incredible challenges when integrating back into society. Attending Jae Won High School is one of the first mistakes he made and subsequently his journey to find peace goes downhill quickly. Staying in the good graces of his social worker and probation officer was his biggest priority; yet, life outside of juvie had proven to be no different than rotting in a cell. It's a dog-eat-dog world, and Tae-Moon will not allow himself to become a pawn in someone else's plan. It isn't long until trouble begins to surface as he delves deeper into a reality shrouded with secrecy that involves the connection between crime and politics. Strange men are not the only shadows lurking behind Tae-Moon. His past too is coming to haunt him. Will Tae-Moon be able to overcome the challenges hurled at him and figure out what happened the night he committed his crime? Or will he succumb to the daunting reality that people like him shouldn't be able to win?

Sophie is super depressed and after the black Swan gives her drugs she becomes addicted and after lashing out at her adoptive parents is sent to rehab where she meets Fitz who's there for anger management and alcoholism. they fall in love but Fitz is an abuser so sophie wants to get away from him. Luckily a new patient Keefe enters because he tried to commit suicide and keefe, though he doesn't want to live, does want sophie and treats her better and doesn't hit her for the slightest inconvience. Sophie learns about former patient jolie who died from secondhand smoke after her boyfriend smoked 15 packs of cigarettes a day. Meanwhile the Black Swan is trying to get Sophie out but the council won't agree.
