Those were all things I've been told by multiple people, my father included before he left me and mum. But I've gotten used to it. Being alone isn't so bad, it's kinda nice, really. The problem with being alone, though, is that it's addictive. The quiet and calm that comes with the peace can be numbing, making one forget what it truly is to be in the presence of others. It can make you forget what it is to speak aloud and to express things to help others understand what you mean. That was my problem. I guess I just hated being around others. I was fine with animals but when it came to people, those everyday citizens, I don't know why but I would always have the feeling of wanting to run away, to just hide in a secluded place far away from people and never look back. But the reason really wasn't the one I expected..... But I can't tell you that just yet. You'll just have to read to find out if you dare.
