Ian Boothby, a former undercover agent of S.H.I.E.L.D, has joined the new iteration of the organisation at the new Avengers base. After defeating Ultron, Steve Rogers (a.k.a Captain America) now spends his days training the new Avengers team in preparation for the next inevitable and possibly world destroying threat. It is by chance these two men, working in the same base, happen to meet and find one another more intriguing than anyone either has met before. However, many obstacles lie in the way of their potential relationship, which may not have a chance of developing as far as they'd like. [This is a piece of fan fiction involving characters and settings from Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe to which I own no rights to. There was simply a complete lack of stories about Ian that don't have him coupled off with Darcy, which i've took the liberty of correcting ;)]
