We were on the run! Our hearts were pounding like a drum as sweat trickled down our spines. The more we looked back, the more we realised that we were running for our lives. My mind screamed with petrifying thoughts as my legs started to feel excruciating torture. I couldn't stop running. I never would stop. I COULDN'T turn into one of them. Not now. Not ever. As my body started to collapse, the blood rushing to my veins reached breaking point and I felt as though It was the end. As my legs pushed forward, my whole body propelled backwards and I fell, screaming in pain, on the floor, looking up to a dishevelled, monstrous beast with a thirst for death. As I stood there, desperately waiting for my friend Nancy to appear, I felt a calm wave of peace surround me. It was as though death was enlightening me and I was happy to leave. However, after those last few moments of my life came to an end I felt as if I died with honour and bravery. It truly opened my eyes to the world that I was living in and I always remembered that even if there is so much war and crime in this world, always spread love and happiness. I never got to but you can.

a void with a 'person' that just tries to imagine what is beyond

Mireya Knight, a girl in her early twenties, goes searching for flowers in the woods one day, and spots a guy of the same age hiking. As she watches from the shadows, a grizzly bear attacks him. After witnessing this traumatic event, Mireya brings him to an abandoned cabin not far from where the attack occurred, and she represses the memory of what actually happened-replacing it with that of a fantasy world.
