That's when I found out that our only hope isn't human.

soooo I am really into this stuff and I decided to write a book about it.

The world has been twisted into a nightmarish reality. Death is imminent, leering closer. A howling wind whistles eerily, echoing. The streets are drenched in darkness, cloaked with fear. In a blink, your light can be extinguished. They can't see you, but they can feel your panicked heartbeats... Which cease when they are stolen. * Raina will never forget the moment her life became a wretched reality. The moment her parents were pitched into the void. She will never forget the tears shed as she and Ella realized that they were alone in this horrid place. Nor will she forget the piercing pain of the lightning bolt, the scars that curve along her skin. They give her the Light.
