Being alone isn't necessarily a curse all the time. Neither is a blessing. Like the Constant itself, the keys to freedom lie hidden somewhere between reality and the unknown. Behind the glooming moons back. Among the shadows of the dusk. As each piece falls in its place, a strange story gets closer to be unfold. Let the next step happen. A fanfiction built on the DST lore and game franchise. This is an experiemental story. Periodical continuation is not promised. I'll practice pacing, POVs, and balancing my narration in order to find my own writing style. I hope you too will enjoy the process! But when something very similar happens to each of them, they find themselves thrown into a world where the shadows are just a bit too dark, the air is just a bit too hostile, and everything, EVERYTHING, is against them. Follow Wilson, the Gentleman Scientist who is secretly a bit too quick to anger; WX-78, the Soulless Automaton, who isn't really as bad as he seems... or maybe he is; and Webber, the Indigestible, who is just a kid looking for someone who could accept him for him, as they face this cruel world. You can't trust anyone, and no one is safe. Anyone could be the next victim, although maybe... just maybe... they can find a few friends to aid them in their survival... The battle has begun.

This is a story of a young imp named Wortox.A rather gentle and playful fellow.He is afflicted with a curse to take the souls of animals and or people who pass away around him.It is rather sad,the small forest creature needing these souls to keep himself sustained.After escaping "The Constant" with all his friends and rather " family " he has decided to seek new openings in the strange new world around him.

Willamette Carter is the newest addition to the nightmarish realm of Maxwell the demon. There's a catch: she is Maxwell Carter's twin. When he sweeps her into the Constant, she reacquaints herself with an old colleague, Wilson Higgsbury. Together, they will fight off the mad nightmare realm and try to reclaim the meek soul of William Carter, trapped in Maxwell. And all along, the single rose will be the planner of their lives. It plays with fate. ___ This is a Don't Starve/Together fan-fiction featuring all of the survivors of the Constant! You can easily read this without ever having played the video game, I explain everything in great enough detail. Disclaimer: Not all the lore is going to be 100% spot-on accurate because as I research I find a lot of contradiction on some lesser known info (like Maxwell's age, and, thus, Willamette's). You can view it as a bit of an alternate reality if that makes you feel better. Please, enjoy. Wendy struggles with her hidden feelings for Webber, while attempting to preserve her familial loyalty. Expect fight scenes, cuddling, and...well, a bit more, depending on how successful this is~
