This is a story of a young imp named Wortox.A rather gentle and playful fellow.He is afflicted with a curse to take the souls of animals and or people who pass away around him.It is rather sad,the small forest creature needing these souls to keep himself sustained.After escaping "The Constant" with all his friends and rather " family " he has decided to seek new openings in the strange new world around him.

It's a fanfiction about Don't Starve I came up with. Complete with your favorite classics of Don't Starve fanfics: Bad writing, bad interactions between characters, and maybe a ship or two idk I'm thinking about it. Oh by the way, instrument voices are canon and the Survivors understand them completely.

Being alone isn't necessarily a curse all the time. Neither is a blessing. Like the Constant itself, the keys to freedom lie hidden somewhere between reality and the unknown. Behind the glooming moons back. Among the shadows of the dusk. As each piece falls in its place, a strange story gets closer to be unfold. Let the next step happen. A fanfiction built on the DST lore and game franchise. This is an experiemental story. Periodical continuation is not promised. I'll practice pacing, POVs, and balancing my narration in order to find my own writing style. I hope you too will enjoy the process! what did i do wrong? why did they leave me here? am i bad? why do they hate me? why did they abandon me? wendy wouldn't leave me right? ... right? -- webber you poor spider child, no happiness for you😔 this is actually the au i came up with on my mb, wanda found a way to get out of the constant but they leave Webber behind, causing him to spiral into a hole of intrusive and sad thoughts when they come back however, they relocate where Webber is to apologise to him spoiler alert : he doesn't accept it

But when something very similar happens to each of them, they find themselves thrown into a world where the shadows are just a bit too dark, the air is just a bit too hostile, and everything, EVERYTHING, is against them. Follow Wilson, the Gentleman Scientist who is secretly a bit too quick to anger; WX-78, the Soulless Automaton, who isn't really as bad as he seems... or maybe he is; and Webber, the Indigestible, who is just a kid looking for someone who could accept him for him, as they face this cruel world. You can't trust anyone, and no one is safe. Anyone could be the next victim, although maybe... just maybe... they can find a few friends to aid them in their survival... The battle has begun.

When your in the Constant, you can't be picky on who your surviving with. This is an unfortunate thing for our maniacal robot friend, WX-78, who has a pure hatred for basically everything. How is it unfortunate? Well, when they noticed a green gem falling from the moon to the earth, they made the poor decision of investigating. And they got stuck with Wormwood. (I take slight hubris in this for possibly being the only fanfiction dedicated 100% to the ship WXWood. It's shocking how you can find so much art for it but then no writings! 👀)
