I got inspiration from a song in my favorite classic rock band Journey and decided to put it into a story of what I believe the song is telling a beautiful song that will be listened to in a different perspective but a beautiful one I referenced most lyrics in this short read as well I hope you enjoy this short read <3 !{DSCLAIMER}! {I DO NOT OWN ART OR LYRICS}

This is the story of a girl who moved to America. This is the story of a boy whose mother is dying. This is the story of how they meet (if I ever get there). I'll try to finish it if I ever get past the writer's block.

After years of being away, a man re-enters his old high school hang out at a now, sketchy rundown diner that used to be the hottest spot in town. When he walks in he sees a few familiar faces and the nostalgia comes flowing.

But don't worry, the Regulates take care of that. When we turn 18 we can become flawed, the Regulates test us. The test confirms whether we are Perfect or flawed. If you're flawed you're taken away. No Perfect knows for sure what happens to them. There are theories, rumors and ideas that have been spoken. No one talks about it for long. You could never imagine my surprise when I find out that my best friend of 9 years is a flaw. I'm a Perfect and my best friend is a flaw. How could this happen? He was Perfect to me. ... "Come with me." I say, turning back to him with tears in my eyes and my hands clasped over my chest. He looks at me uncertain and with a loss of words. He takes a step forward and grabs my hands. "Only for you, Evangeline." He says solemnly, kissing the back of my hand. It was almost as if he already knew what was going to happen. He knew that my world, my Perfect world would come crashing down the second I placed my plan into action. ... So tell me, what is the Definition of Perfection? I wish it was that easy. This story is about a girl who becomes famous but the pressure of everybody's expectations gets to her and she breaks. So I just finished part 3 and I only want to keep writing if people want to read it so please PLEASE comment if you want me to finish the story.
