In the First Age, in the First Battle, when the shadows of Oblivion first lengthened over Tamriel, one stood.
Burned by the fires of Dagon, his soul blistered and seared, he chose the path of unending torment.
In his righteous fury, he found no solace, and with boiling blood he scoured the realms of terror, seeking vengeance against the dread lords who had wronged him.
He was the last of his company, a knight entombed in the hell he had sought to cleanse.
For an age uncounted, his name was carved in the tablets of the Daedra, a sound of dread that echoed through their halls.
They feared him, for his hatred was a storm that would not break, and with his might, he shattered the very pillars of their dark temples.
Unbreakable, unyielding, his vengeance knew no end.
They could not kill him. So, in their cowardice, they cast him out.
They opened a gate of fire and pain, a gateway back to the world from which he came. They lost a legion of their own to push him through, to be rid of the unchained predator, the living curse upon their kind. They did not care if he lived or died, only that he was no longer within their sight.
And so, he returned to the lands of men, a warrior of a forgotten war. He came to a place of ice and stone, to a land of dragons and mortals, and the echoes of his suffering and his rage followed close behind.
The age of his reckoning had come to a new realm, and the fear that he carried with him was a new kind of terror, a terrible promise that the Daedra would know no peace, even in their most guarded domains.
They called him... The Doom Slayer.
Neither Skyrim nor Doom belongs to me. Skyrim belongs to Bethesda and Bethesda and ID Software own Doom to my knowledge. Only Y/n belongs to me. I'm just writing this for fun.
