When sixteen year old Harriet Bird meets the young and eloquent Dan Smith, they both agree to give up all reason in order to make their night together feel infinite.

This is a coming-of-age story where Dan and his wife are forced to grow up quicker than other people their age, which already sucks. To make matters worse, they also have to confront and deal with many difficult challenges that life throws at them... After all, life was never meant to be simple.

It started out as any gig, do the damn thing, play songs, have fun and possibly meet some fans afterwards, because seeing their faces light up after he walks out is the best feeling in the world, but what actually happened that night was more than he bargained for.

Dan is playing a superhero for a new movie. It might come to a shock to the system for old Bastille fans, but he's genuinely happy acting instead of singing. Everyone wishes him well...except for the ones who don't. They're people who think the worst of him because of a past tragedy. After all, the man with many talents, is very familiar with heroes and villains in his own life. This superhero flick called 'Illusion' suits Dan better than his characters suit!
