Dave and Karkat have been dating for awhile and everything is going great until Karkat starts having odd dreams and Dave starts acting weird....

Dave is trapped he can't die the people who are there won't let him all of his friends are dead and Karkat was gone he felt hopeless...at least for now (part two of the doomed time line)

He expected screaming or an actual attack, because that would have definitely made it easier for him to shoot. Maybe even some commune members walking right in and disarming him, but none of that came. "Oh Jayce, my dear partner. How I've missed you." ------- Or "what if Jayce folded when he saw Viktor in the commune"?
