Author's Note / Introduction (Read Me First!) Hey everyone! Welcome to The Economics of Love 🥂✨ I wrote this guide because I got tired of the same generic, copy-and-pasted dating advice that shows up everywhere online. No, you are not crazy for losing that initial "spark," and no, your ex was not some mysterious puzzle - sometimes people are simply reacting to human psychology, expectations, and the realities of modern relationships. In this book, we'll look at love through a completely different lens: the witty, complicated, and sometimes brutal world of economics. Whether you're single and navigating the digital dating scene, in a relationship and trying to avoid falling into a rut, or healing from heartbreak, this book is for you. If something in these pages speaks to you, I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. And if you enjoy the book, please tap the Star/Vote button to help it reach more readers. New chapters will be posted on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. So settle in, stay curious, and let's begin. - Your Ultimate Guide

Heeseung hated crowds. Not because of the people, but the noise-the cacophony of voices blending into a dull roar. Yet here he stood, wine glass in hand, staring at a painting that spoke louder than anything in the room. A blur of crimson strokes, sharp edges that bled into a soft glow of gold. It was chaos and control in one frame, a visual contradiction that mirrored the tension thrumming in his chest. "Beautiful, isn't it?" a voice broke through his thoughts. He turned. She stood there-Star, though he didn't know her name yet-draped in a confidence that seemed effortless, like she'd walked out of the painting itself. Her dark curls framed a face illuminated by curiosity, and her eyes were fixed on him, not the artwork. "It's..." He paused, searching for a word that wouldn't sound pretentious. "Honest." A smirk tugged at her lips. "Honest? That's rare. Most people call it 'bold' or 'revolutionary.'" She took a sip from her glass, watching him over the rim. "You're not like most people." Heeseung shrugged, deflecting the compliment. "Neither are you." Star tilted her head, as if appraising him. "So, what's your story? Another tortured artist hoping to be inspired?" "I don't do stories," he replied, turning back to the painting. "I just... look." "Then you're in the wrong place," she said, stepping closer. "This is where people come to be seen." He glanced at her, a flicker of amusement breaking through his guarded expression. "What about you? Are you here to look, or to be seen?" Star's laugh was soft, almost self-deprecating. "Wouldn't you like to know." For the first time in years, Heeseung felt something stir-an electric pulse that started in his chest and spread to his fingertips. He dismissed it as fleeting, nothing more than a momentary spark. But as Star walked away, her heels clicking against the marble floor, he couldn't shake the feeling that he'd just met his match.

Chipped nail polish, casual encounters with cocaine, one very pretentious Matty Healy, and four Seattle-based misfits that form a band called Dopamine. Follow them as they tour with The 1975 across America and Europe, much to the lead singer Eli Hamilton's dismay. It all started with a contract.

Will you believe if I told you this? Just a couple of days ago, I participated in a competition where the results shocked me more than anything else. It felt so surreal and to be honest it felt like a movie scene that played way too fast for me to even grasp the meaning behind of it. But there was this one moment, just a day before the competition, I felt I couldn't do it. I know I was being a coward at that very moment because part of me felt like pulling out of a battle that haven't even begin yet. You wouldn't believe what kept me going. It was a book that I read a couple of days ago, Shoe Dog by Phil Knight, where there's one specific line I believe would trigger many of us. It goes like this: "The cowards never started and the weak died along the way - that leaves us."
