Inspired by Oscar Wilde, features the tale of Dorien Grayson during the 1970s disco scene and drag queen shows. Instead of a painting, this Dorien has a photograph that ages for him. With eternal youth, beauty, and fame what could go wrong?

These were my little writing exercises that I was doing as a challenge with a friend of mine, based around characters from Dorian! We had exactly ten minutes to write whatever stream of consciousness came, and these are the results! Also I'm keeping it labelled in the same way I had it in my notes from it because I think that's a little funny

Franny was a shy, somewhat self conceited girl but upon entering University for an English Literature degree her world is twisted, gutted and spiralled in all sort's of ways when she meets a mysterious poet who lurks on campus. She is forced to deal with her growing illness, this stranger who lures her into the unknown, and how her life is turning out for the worse.

Aww, Dorian has the morbs. That is a shame. Woe, the repercussions of his actions be upon him though

A fault in the canvas, yes, that would have had to be it. It was the only rational explanation that could be found there. A contamination that distorted the paint and left it to bleed out from the canvas and spoil the work itself. That must have been the case, the red seemed to be leeching out so terribly that it was staining the ground just before the picture itself. He would have liked to see if he could fix the fault before the piece was entirely beyond help, but he could not quite tell where it was the issue actually came from. A steady, rich crimson staining the time-worn threadbare of the carpet that the painting rested upon, a growing stain that must have been pouring from the painting with more of the red than he could have recalled using for the piece when he was working on it.
