Light floods the bedroom through the sheer pink curtains, sending a sharp pain directly into my temple. Propping myself up on my elbow, I finally persuade myself to open my eyes and look around, and it hits me: I don't know this place. This should be terrifying, all of it, but none of it is nearly as scary as the fact that I don't know the mess of a person staring back at me in the mirror.

Cosy and warm in the safety of our homes as the storm thrashes against the window, while the wind screams, the thunder roars, and the lightning bullets. Nobody realizes that the girl in the warmth, the girl in the cosiness, was really situated in the middle of the ruthless storm, with a mind thrashing, screaming, and roaring. There really was no safety in her home.

Hihi, Val/Strawb here! Will I ever finish my balloon jester fic? maybe...I seriously can't right looey right though, so I'm sorry. However with this rarepair, I actually know both characters personalities pretty well, so production should go a lot smoother lol! Anyway, pls enjoy!
