Everything in life seems to have a double standard. From relationships to individuality, society has grown two faces that prevent us from reaching our best potential. Society is full of crap sometimes that soft-spoken Zoey can't stand the pressures on her heart and mind while being a pre-med at her university. Nothing has changed after she graduated high school. Of course living off the experiences of her girlfriends won't technically consider her a guru of relationships, she hopes she'll run into some guy one day that will open the pandora's box of issues related to relationships. Is there something wrong with her the fact that she has not had a single boyfriend in her 17 years of life? She has five brothers, so obviously she bumped up her expectations, but come on! Not one guy out of the many fishes in the sea wants to start something with me? If it is truly yours, it will come back. But what if it came and you missed the chance? What do you do then? Will you go searching for it? Is there not a saying that says waiting around will lead you nowhere? That you need to take things into your own hands in order to make things happen? When will it be the right time? What if you become tired of trying to make it happen? Trying to work it out. "Be patient," they say, yet wise and open for the time when the opportunity arises. Don't be afraid to grab it when the opportunity presents itself. Yea, right.
