In a galaxy where naming your planet 'Earth' is commonplace, Robert Grognon emerges as an unlikely Galactic Grand Regent, originally just a simple Earth accountant catapulted well beyond his narrow comfort zone despite himself. Agatam Sissi Dobruel, the 98th Grand Scribe, is tasked with documenting Grognon's life, beliefs, and the customs he brings from his version of Earth. Amidst galactic politics, unique traditions, and a colorful cast of characters, this biography explores the apprehension of fate, the quest for identity, and the origin of kebabs, in an adventure that defies time and space.

This is my first book and it is a fanfic of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglass Adams. Once I get two votes on any given part, I will release the next. (This rule may not apply if I get board or have a lot of parts staked up and ready to release) Keep in mind that this story was written after I only read the first book in the trilogy of five! 😜 The story is about a teen named Nichola Dent, who is the last earthing in the universe (besides her parents).

Word-vomit à la Douglas Adams meets Welcome to Nightvale - I'd like to think anyway. Alternatively: A mostly plot-less exploration of a universe where up is down and down is usually to the left.

It's not just any ideas that get manufactured in Corkhill's castle. It's the Eureka! ideas - blueprints for something that nobody has ever thought of before. The type of ideas that change worlds. Buttertoast, a giant moth, had just stolen one. Somewhere else in the world of Backstage, Uppity the clown had just failed miserably at his largest ever (but still small) magic gig. Things were going to get a lot worse. You see, he just accidently caused the end of the world, and is running out of time to save it. All he needs is the help of someone at the Magic Ponies Mental Institute, and a silver goldfish.

It's been four months since Dirk solved the Oneiroi case and human existence, (yes, Dirk solved the case of human existence) and they were beginning to get used to the idea of maybe, possibly, living a normal life. Not that they wanted that, of course. But they had stopped Blackwing so maybe the universe was fixed and no more weird stuff would happen... Wrong! Get ready for a tale of goats, a boat, drugs, and lots of other random stuff. I told you this one was weird.

There's nothing more dangerous than a book, especially in the wrong hands. And, in this world of magic, wars and an alarming number of self-serving, gratuitously selfish people, there are a lot of wrong hands to take advantage. When the world's foremost mage, Anpound Pudbatter (fresh from a magical accident that had turned him back into a teenager with all the associated raging hormones) meets Gammer Goodhiding, the world's most polite, yet indefinably terrifying witch, and Bindi, a Druid who almost has a filthy mouth, they come together to search for an object that could very well spell the end of the world as they know it. Or change it in ways they cannot imagine. From the intermittently high Mount Pintel, to the vast, unending Library, to the indeterminately located city of Lost Vagueness, where hope, and Coin, go to wallow in despair, to the world's most important, prominent, and tiniest city, the three of them must follow the magical chaos wrought by the presence of the book. And with warlords bent on conquest, thieves out for a quick score and a djinn with a mischievous attention to detail in the way, things may not go quite according to plan. And what, exactly, is the origin of the book? Only The Archivist's All-knowing Almanac knows for sure. A love-letter to the works of Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams. The first novel of the ongoing Discworld inspired series.
