The day Douma dies is the day he feels for the first time. He'd do it all over again just to feel that emotion. So he does. - Douma is given a second chance at life. In his pursuit to keep the timeline the same as it was before so he could meet Shinobu and feel emotion again, he messes a few things up. Relationships shift, discoveries are made and he might be feelings things he hadn't felt the first time around. But the road taken shouldn't matter too much as long as Shinobu is waiting at the end, right?

There are many dangers in the life of a sailor. Capturing a siren's heart, although a rare occurrence, was one of them. ~~~ Originally this was supposed to be a 3-chapter short story on Ao3, but I had a bit too much fun with the characters and setting to cut it that short (funny extra interactions? extra lore and worldbuilding to uncover? Douma and Kotoha's story but mix it with my delusions. I took my own liberties while making the story. This is an AU, none of what happens here is canon and well, Douma will probably be ooc because y'know, can't really make him fall in love if he doesn't feel.
