A very early draft of an small part of a memoir I'm working on about the experience of having a child with Down syndrome and discovering that the world is not set up for him. The book will be about the joys of him but also about the changes in me the experience has brought. What I'd love is if people would ask questions, or mention topics they'd like to cover. Sometimes when it's just your life you don't think about things from an outside perspective.

It was one day a girl name jasmine had a kid named emily. Emily was born with down-syndrome. Her mom then hated her mom . Her husband Named Matt wanted a baby all his life. When jasmine found out they had a baby with Down syndrome she wanted to adopt the baby and kill it. Jamie had sent Matt out to get some burger King for her because she was hungry. When he came to the hospital jasmine was sitting there and the baby was crying so when the nurses heard it They tan in the room as fast as They could. When the nurses kayla,destiney,and lindsay came in the Baibies face was purple like it was dying. When we got in the room we Asked the mother why isnt she doing anything? The mom said i hate the baby. Lindsay then asked jasmine why and she said because it has down syndrome. Then Kayla asked Matt if he hated the baby. Matt said he loved the baby no Matter what it is. Then a few hours later the nurses call her hospital Phone and asked if she needed any help with skipper.

hopeful story

main character: Izzie Izzie has always been the optimistic one. even when things go wrong. people just assumed she was just always happy or it was her down syndrome, but really, she's just glad she could remember how to walk or talk or even breathe.

In a world where everyone is assigned a "gorilla guardian" at birth, Julia is lacking one. Her family, astounded and concerned, soon unearthes an anomaly within her being, manifested as Down syndrome. Her family becomes her shield against the harsh winds of societal stigma, the prying eyes of strangers, and the bullying that seeks to crush her. However, as time moves forward, society's struggle to appreciate Julia's light and uniqueness exacerbates. Will the evilness of the world end up engulfing her?

But you cannot ignore these truths for long because they have a voice and they will make sure you hear them.
