You are a young woman in a medieval realm, you have been living alone ever since your younger brother passed away. Your best friend comes running to you one day, telling you she wants to show you something she found. You decide to go, and end up following her to an abandoned temple near the edge of the nearby desert. She brings an old book about magic with her, thinking nothing could go wrong. Until the curse awakens.

Lief. Barda. Jasmine. All of Deltora has heard those three names. The savior King, the fearsome palace guard, and the wild girl who survived the Forests of Silence. Their stories are spread out from the overworld cities to underground realms, from man to creature. But what about those moments in between? The stories that don't get told. The words that are never said again. Tales that are taken to the grave. Well, my dear reader, I'm about to tell them to you.

Set alongside the canon plot of the movie, this fanfiction delves into the possibility of the letter being delivered only a year later. This affects their predetermined melancholic ending and probably turns it around. A/N: I wrote this fanfic because I wanted to read it. After watching and re-watching the movie, Sita Ramam, and destroying my heart, I wanted an alternative ending. So, I searched the Internet, only to be disappointed by the lack of fanfiction work around this beautiful story. Hence, my initiative.
