❝ I lost my fear of falling. I will be with you. ❞ As I'm writing my longer stories, I will occasionally publish Frerard short stories as practice. So, welcome to Fashion Statements! Many of these will be set in the past and involve horror and romance genre conventions. Enjoy, my dears. Just because they will be shorter than normal, it doesn't mean I'm not writing them with care and precision. All of my stories are only published after hours of editing, rewriting and research. I also take requests and will get to them eventually!

"If God was a villain, He'd be me." When Frank Iero sees a beautiful Gothic house encompassed between hills and valleys go for Sale, he buys it for him and his husband, Gerard Way, to live in. A steal. Perfect, so they thought. When they begin to notice strange things happening, questions open up. They begin to ask if they're really sharing their home with paranormal beings, or if the whole concept is just a figment of their imaginations. How can one tell, anyway? Completed ~ 9679 words

"If one cannot understand his consequences, he cannot see himself as evil." Detective Gerard Way is investigating the murder of a young woman in New York, 1987. As the most insightful and resourceful detective in his field, his lack of leads and stable evidence frustrates him. Until he encounters a familiar figure from a past murder case, an intelligent and passionate criminal psychologist named Frank Iero. As a detective, Gerard is required to be suspicious, so much so that he is limited in human connections and empathetic abilities. The more uncanny events get, the more he realises how redundant trust is and why he swore off love so early on. People are not what they say they are and the supposed culprit's thirst for blood isn't quite satiated yet.

Frank Iero is your typical playwright who had avoided trouble his whole life. Except sometimes when you try so hard to avoid something, you end up running blindly right into it. That was the case when Frank witnessed the cold-blooded murder of a famous television journalist, Ray Toro. Now on the run from a gang in an unfamiliar New York City, he runs into a charismatic and cheery hairdresser by the name of Gerard Way. Will he be able to help Frank out of this mess or make everything worse? Completed ~ 12,615 words

Scorpion is the leader of one of the toughest gangs in the 1950s. He's got experience in fighting and even rides a motorcycle. But he hates Elvis, and his real name, Frank. Gerard Way is a typical high schooler who usually stays out of the spotlight. He only has one friend, Ray Toro, who is just like him in so many ways. When Ray Toro and Gerard Way get into an argument with Scorpion about their choice of music, Scorpio demands to fight one of them since he believes picking fights is cool. He so happens to pick Gerard because that's just his luck. What happens when both of them get more than they bargained for? Completed ~ 5239 words

Who on Earth wears leather gloves in the middle of Summer? Gerard Way. Frank Iero is curious, no doubt about it. He'll ask question upon question if something, or someone, interests him, which is what happens when he meets a man named Gerard Way. But there's something a little off about Gerard that Frank can't figure out. Could it be his extensive and never-ending knowledge of obscure topics? Or maybe his irrational fear of hand-holding? Will Frank get past Gerard's secrecy to discover the real man that he's fallen in love with? Frank doesn't have much time to figure it out because someone else wants Gerard in a different way.
