warning spoilers for those who have not already seen season 3 of trollhunters yet! just before Draal fell, he saw Gunmar use merlin's staff, with all the strength he had left, he pushed himself and Jim off of the giant crystal, though, he was not expecting to still be alive, on an island, in the sun, as a dragon... meeting new friends and for alike, he must now learn to live as a dragon, while trying to help the troll hunter return home, and protect him from someone who left him long ago...

Jim once made a promise that he didn't keep. It's time to change that, though it may prove to be the hardest thing he's ever done: Tell his Mother the Truth. (Follows Armor Can't Protect One From Everything)
