Moonlight ricocheted throughout the room. Yana's breathing was slow and steady as she leaned onto Dazai. Serenity blanketed the room, the air of comfort was thick enough to cut through. Perhaps, there was a reason for living beyond face value. There was a certain warmth in having someone to confide in once more. Was it twisted for using her like this? Was she only there to fill the void in his heart that Oda's death left? Dazai was aware she had an attachment to him, clinging onto him as he was the only thing keeping her together. Yana spent time collecting the missing pieces of her broken heart but found herself dropping them each time a fleeting crush came to greet her. Dazai let out a great sigh as he leaned back into the seat, glancing over at the former Port Mafia member with pity in his honeyed hues.
