The Elder Dragons are an old race, as old as the magic that permeates this world. They are the oldest of races and in the times of fire and lava at the formation of this world, they were there, and they developed hard scales, harder than diamond, and wings to fly above the fire and death in the burning world below. Then the fire went and the lava cooled, and the Earth was still. And the Elders remained. The ice spread from the north, coating the Earth in frost, and the Elders developed fire as a way to remind themselves of their beginnings and keep warm on the merciless ice. Then, as the seasons of the earth changed and the humans came from the trees and built on the land, the Elders developed their ability to change into these new creatures and back into their true selves at will. Some split off at this point, becoming dumber and cruder, and lost the title of Elder. As the humans became smarter and were able to wield the magic of this world, the Darkest of all, the darkness without a name, came unto this world, and the Elders met their match. In the first time in millennia the Elder Dragons were afraid. They were driven to near extinction, until they retreated from this earth, and flew away, lost, leaving their cousins, the dragons, behind. But one remains. She doesn't know the secrets of her race, the secrets of the world she finds herself in. Two brothers find themselves laying unable to move and confused in the base's ICU. Neither one of them can clearly recall the events that led up to their stay in their less-than-comfortable beds. Both remember falling ill, but memories of ending up in the medical wing can't seem to be found. Even the memories of life prior to being dangerously ill seem to have suddenly gotten fuzzy. Now, Veil and Perrin are left with little choice other than to think back in an attempt to find any answers that they can. The biggest problem? They can hear strange noises coming from up above them late at night. It's not as simple as your typical creaky building sounds. There's undoubtedly something lurking in the walls, and it has been using the vents to travel around their father's fortress.

When a criminal escapes from jail with a stone infused with the most powerful dark magic alive, no one is safe. Jessica Thompson is 15. She can't seem to do well in school, her best friend is away all summer, and her parents won't stop yelling at her. In her dispair, she runs to a cave, and falls into a portal leading to a dimension within our world. There she meets a boy who can transform into a wolf, a boy who can command fire, and even a few vampires. Not to mention a girl who can control boys' emotions, an 8 year old who can bend water to his command (much to the distress of the 15 yr old fire user), and a little girl who has been gifted with telepathy. Perhaps there's even a little romance involved with a certain green-eyed wolf? However, it's not all fun and games...because there's some dark power involved here. Something that's bigger than all of the super-natural world combined. The problem? Jessica may be the only one alive who can save both the super-natural dimension, and the human one.

A lot of thing are happening what distracked them from their quest like a strange group of elves that claims they are descendants from the dragons. How will Talis and Aurelia handle this situation?
