In an alternate Universe of my published book, "Life as the Vampire God." (No previous knowledge needed.) Humanity was locked in a desperate war against the vicious Lyracken race and their god, Lycanther. Some generously shared their knowledge with the rest of the world in the hope of turning back the Lyracken tide, while others selfishly guarded their abilities and refused to let them spread. Jareth and his sister Mia had lost almost everything to the war, his home, and his parents. The only thing Jareth had inherited was a weird looking advanced computer. When Jareth had unlocked the computer, he was granted "The Draven System" it granted him power that was similar to a video game but in real life. Now forced into military school at age fifteen, Jareth enters a high-tech academy built on salvaged enemy technology where students are ranked by their abilities and the rich buy powerful Evolved powers from special books. Ophelia's dreams spiral out of control to the point that it is difficult for her to tell the difference between reality and fantasy. I honestly don't think anyone will ever see these but many of these stories are on my personal drive so they're getting drowned by papers XD I would love to MaYbE one day write at least one of these, so if that ever happens I'll have them all in the same place. The Entity Fate isn't known for much, but she *is* known for loving heroic stories. To create heroes you need potential devastation. You need villains, and corruption and death and despair in order to have the hero triumph over all that in the end. In other words, this is the tale of a family favored by Fate, cursed with the gift of an interesting life full of never-ending betrayals and occasional glimmers of hope. The story of ruination that followed each burdened member, crossing dimensions and spanning centuries. For, you see, a hero of Fate cannot truly die without finishing the story. ~~Alternate Summary, can't decide which to use~~ Entities with power over the multiverse tend to meddle, especially those invested in humanity. The Dunnar family is a direct testament to this fact. Each member "given patronage" by a self-proclaimed deity, a puppet for the power's whims. Except, the Dunnar family aren't just puppets to be used. They think. They hope. They want. They fear. ~~~ Otherwise known as that story I've been sitting on posting for years. Yes, I'm just a bit less of a coward when faced with a global pandemic. Updates on Tuesdays, probably. (And yes, I changed the date of the global crisis when our world was faced with a comparable one, since I don't want to jinx it and have this mess last for another five years thank you very much) Will update warnings when someone complains.
