Scott has a secret, there are... three gods constantly causing chaos and only he can see or hear them, normally. but it's fine, they're his family at this point, and he knows they want the best for him. grian is delighted, his favorite (well second favorite) mortal is a dragon rider! why wouldn't he be happy for his darling? though it does make protecting him a bit harder. Jimmy is happy for Scott, of course, but he worries for his lover. Scott is mortal, that means he's in constant danger, even more so now that he's a dragon rider! pearl is joyful as a wolf after a successful hunt! she'll FINALLY get to bash some heads in, at least if everything continues how it seems it will. OR flight smp but what if Scott has some chaos-loving, well-meaning, semi-protective gods in his head?

Daemon blinked. A dragon rider... Named Hiccup? That was... Unexpected. More unexpected than finding dragon riders beyond the reach of House Targaryen. History recorded that dragonlords other than his own family had once existed. But Hiccup? Surely the name meant something in whatever tongue these people spoke. If it meant what Daemon believed it did, then someone owed him a very good explanation as to why a dragon rider had been burdened with such a name. (Just hear me out, okay?)
