Leafless branches tore hungrily at my scaly hide as I race after my next meal. My eyes stuck to the white blur in front of me as I focused solely on my prey, a familiar ache tore through my stomach at the thought of food. It was mid winter and I was unable to find any fruit to satisfy my hunger. My black, gold and white hide made it almost impossible to hunt in the pure snow, so when the chance for a decent meal arose I was sure to take hold of it with both paws. As we twisted through the now startlingly silent forest the only sound is of the crunch of snow and my panting breath. I failed to notice the fact the strange scent from earlier had gotten stronger as well as the large shadows that crisscrossed our path.

To understand this story you have to have read ( upon wings of Change and A New Beginning ) She owns all of the characters so please read her books before reading this one I can't spell do grammar or anything like that this is just my rambling so it will be hard to read for most people sorry about that.
