When she was young, Zai's mother, a Mistress of the Wind, died defending her clan from a dragon bearing storm magic. After her mother's death, Zai's father grieved harder than anyone else. In the months following, his underlying doubt foamed and festered. He had Zai under constant guard; separated from the common tribe. That's when Koroleth showed up. She took advantage of his weary, tentative mind and created a monster. Balakaar, Koroleth, and the remaining Nokhud centaur abandoned the Windmother and embraced the Storm and its chaotic currents. The story follows Zai, daughter of Chief Balakaar, the ignoble leader of the Nokhud centaur. She flees her clan in the middle of the night, with a young Shaman she just met, in search of a better way. A balanced way. And that's just the beginning. A novel, inspired by the Warcraft Universe.

In the Four Realms, all full dragons are shifters, able to take the shapes of the other six sapient species as they desire. When Imi, a half-dragon priestess of the goddess of life, and Lyle, also known as Lylnetrath, a full-dragon paladin in the service of the goddess of justice, fall in love, a whole world of dragons is exposed, kindling love and community and simultaneously drawing ire and hatred. A story of some of the dragons of the world of the Four Realms, featuring some characters already known from my earlier published stories and many others who are new. This story has three distinct parts, that of Before, told in five chapters, an Interlude, told in its entirety, and that of After, told in 17 chapters. The story is followed by several short epilogues. Part 1, part 2 and the epilogues are all told in the 3rd person. The interlude is told in the 1st person. It can be read as an independent story but some of the character backgrounds are not included and thus a few details might be a little confusing, but this should not detract from the overall story. It also contains fantasy-fiction parallels to racism and hatred based on appearance, although almost all the characters are dragons and are not human at all. She befriends the dragons in the nest she is taken to. 10 years after she is taken, an evil dragon master named Drago Bloodvist wants to use dragons to take over Julie's birth village. Will she save them, or will she leave and save herself? I don't own any HTTYD charactors that might be mentioned. Also I don't own anything else that ends up having to do with HTTYD.
