A warm short story

I wrote this a while ago whilst I was still at school to introducing my character Dragonfly to the series. It's set just after the start of the Beast Hunters series (Season 3) It's first person and I've tried to keep it present tense. Hopefully I didn't slip into past too much if at all. Let me know what you think and I'll keep uploading them.

Calum and Remy are best friends living together in New York City. Now, I know what you're thinking: "This is one of those cute stories where the best friends realize how perfect they are for each other, right?" Wrong. This is a story about superpowers, about right and wrong, and betrayal. After all, who can you trust if you can't trust your best friend?

"But honestly, through all the years I tried to remember him — what he looked like, how he talked, who he was — I wished I could take it all back. Because if I had known, then I would have been wishing to forget him the entire time." *~|~* Willow can't remember anything from her childhood. Every time she tries, she blacks out. She does, however, remember her friend though. Appearing outside her window every night, Willow befriends a strange boy. He gives her no name or information about himself, so she jokingly names him 'Knight' for both the time he comes and how she he calls her Little Elf, a name that reminds her of a princess. However, she can't remember anything about how he looks. And then one day, he disappears. She becomes convinced that he was only imaginary the whole time, but years later Willow unites with him once more. And what results is even more confusing than her lost past.
