Peace has come to Pyrrhia ... for now. The war between the tribes is finally over, and now the dragonets of the prophecy have a plan for lasting peace: Jade Mountain Academy, a school that will gather dragonets from all the tribes and teaches them to live together, perhaps even as friends. Dreamcatcher couldn't be anymore excited to start at school. Bored to death in the rainforest and looking for new friends, he's as curious as he is unsure. Born with the faint ability to sense emotions and read minds, Dreamcatcher has gathered that not every dragon has his power. However, living with so many new and fascinating dragons leaves him too enamored to be careful. In just a few days, Dreamcatcher finds that this school may not be as innocent as it seems, and when he is roped into trouble while trying to reconnect with a childhood friend, things become even darker. With his newfound winglet, can Dreamcatcher protect them all, and prove that he is a worthy friend? Or will he lose his chance to connect with other dragons, as he so desperately wants to? Hello! Five dragons, five fates. Mako is a former SeaWing heir who abandoned his kingdom. Seafoam is his older sister who was thrown into his position when he left. Neither wants the throne for their own reasons, and neither sibling can be happy if the other is. Macaw is a RainWing. While ordinary at first glance, the fact that he's animus-cursed speaks for itself. His awful luck is reflected on those around him, and when his curse almost kills his favorite sister, he decides it's better not to take chances and leaves the rainforest. Not like anyone would miss him, anyway. Fennec and Solstice are hybrid SandWing refugees. They met when they were younger and have been family-friends ever since a vicious queen intent on purifying the bloodline ascended the throne. They've been forced underground, hiding with others affected. When Solstice's parents are killed during a raid, they realize they need to escape the desert somehow. While not biologically related, they're as good as siblings and vow to stick together. Peppermint is a hybrid. Her parents realized they had rushed into their relationship, more in love with the idea of marriage than each other. They both loved their daughter despite their hostility toward each other, but they weren't ready to be parents. After living on the edge of the tundra for her whole life, Peppermint leaves and searches for something more. When the dragons have a chance meeting in Possibility, they soon realize that maybe it's fate.

Based off of the popular "Wings of Fire" series by Tui T. Sutherland, but through the eyes of different dragons. This story follows the lives of Python, NebulaGazer, RattleSnake, and Gyre, as they try to survive in the world of Pyrrhia, just after the new arrival of the NightWings in the Rainforest Kingdom, under Glory's new rule.
