So basically it takes place from dragons rising Season 3(almost), before they head off to find Arin. There is trouble in the city and they chase a mysterious creature feature(I wanna say that cause I can (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠) and will do so) and this creature turns out to be a creature of darkness and takes the green ninja's elemental power and throws it into a portal that leads to no where and his team decided to bench him for their safety but He finds another way on how to help and tries to play 3 different roles to look for his power source. (The cover ain't mine at all) (neither are the characters in the story except for two that are OC's)

the moment poxal came back in s3 I KNEW she has to meet Kaia again (the comic Version not the book one) So yeah. enjoy! I also added a character from a canon ninjago comic cuz why not lol

He felt weight on his back as his legs gave out and he fell to the floor rolling down a hill. As he came to a stop in a flower field he rolled over to see his best friend on top of him smiling as he turned back into a human. "AH! I WIN!" He yelled as the gray wolf got up changing back to human form. "Haha! He got you good" the boy heard his other friends laugh and he rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah" the h/c boy chuckled as he rubbed the dirt off his face. At that moment he felt the ground shake and screaming in his village. The boy fell to the floor and looked at his friends in fear. He was not in his realm. Where is he? Why? How? Will he see his family again?
