Hiccup Horendous Haddock III loved Berk with all his heart. It was the place where he was born, and where his family lived for generations. He would do anything to keep them safe, to help them grow and improve, even if it meant he could no longer live on Berk itself. Even if it meant risking his own life. And even if it meant everyone there...thought he was dead.

When Hiccup, Snotlout and Fishlegs respond to a Terror Mail from trader Johan, they find a mass of aggressive wild dragons. But there's someone leading these dragons and he hates humans. I do not own the How To Train Your Dragon franchise. The storyline loosely follows episodes of the Race To The Edge series.

A massive storm comes out of nowhere one day, sucking the dragon riders in and taking then far from home. They wake up on an odd island that they've never seen before. But the deeper they travel into it's forests, the more they realize this is no regular land. Things that should never be possible start happening, and they soon find themselves in a desperate fight for survival. And no matter what they try, there doesn't seem to be a way off the cursed island. It isn't until they meet a strange girl with a strange name that things start to take a turn for the better. Love begins to blossom in the land where anything is possible. Will they make it off the island? Or are their fates sealed? The longer they're trapped, the more they learn. This island is not what it seems. And this strange girl is more than she appears to be. Little bit of creep factor, lots of character development in the beginning. The love interest starts a little later into the story (chp. 9 or 10).

Once upon a time, in the kingdom of DunBroch, there lived a young and adventurous princess. Her bravery shone bright until one fateful day when she encountered a severely injured dragon, a creature she had never seen before. After nursing it back to health, she forged a deep friendship with the dragon, discovering through her readings that it was a Night Fury. She decided to train it, even learning to ride, and named it Teal due to its striking eyes-later realizing he was a male. Everything changed when the notorious dragon hunter Viggo Grimborn threatened the kingdom, intent on wiping out dragons and seizing the islands for himself. Forced to flee for their safety, the princess's mother sent Merida and her brothers away, but they were too late; the hunters attacked, destroying their home and devastating their family. With a heavy heart, Merida escaped the island with Teal, guided by a Wisp to a new land that offered shelter and training for both herself and her dragon. There, they met new allies-both people and dragons-who aided them in gathering supplies and building a new home, welcoming them to their camp whenever they needed assistance. A year later, they prepared for the impending battle against Viggo and the dragon hunters, joining forces with other dragon riders who shared their cause. Although concerned for their safety, they insisted on helping her. When they took her to the edge of the island, she shared her painful story of loss due to Viggo's cruelty, prompting her new allies to train alongside her and Teal. Despite her insistence that she could manage on her own, they sympathized with her solitude. Then, the day arrived when Viggo sought her out, trying to persuade her to join the hunters' ranks.

Viggo's nails dug deeper into my chin as he forced me to look into his eyes, "You know exactly where you belong...with me. Your my property. Those scars on your body are scars of ownership. You obey your master, servant." Hiccup Haddock the third, the son of Stoick the Vast, was taken away from his father when he was five years old. For twelve years of his life, he was forced to live with Viggo who works with a group of Outcasts all of which serve a much greater power. Viggo hated the child and took him only to get revenge on Stoick the Vast. He abused the boy, beating him almost to death multiple times, marking him with what he called ownership. Now, he's eighteen years old whose desperate to live his life. With so many people after him, his father forces Hiccup to stay on Berk until he finds a man whom he refuses to talk about. Hiccup begins to suffer from night terrors that make him want to stay along with battling his own mental condition. Things go south again when an unexpected traitor hands Hiccup over to the ones who want to destroy him mentally and physically. Meanwhile back at Berk, Stoick was furious rampaging through his house looking over numerous different maps. He was desperate to find his son. So desperate he would do anything to get him back. Little does he know, that not only the mysterious kidnapper is overly skilled, but also an old friend whom Stoick was best friends with for years.

It was a normal day on Dragons Edge. Hiccup and Astrid were on patrol when something caught Hiccup's eye. It was a box. It was made of Emerald and it had a Night Fury and a Deadly Nadder carved on it. He picked it up and brought it back to his hut. The clay kids come to stay at mine for the week, except Motor. The gang go for flights on dragons, and explore islands. While Motor is left behind, he doesn't want to go through, because he doesn't know the consequences of him going through there. This story takes place on dragons edge, an island far from Berk. Hiccup and his friends had settled there, with a new enemy, Viggo Grimborn. However, the riders find a weapon that the hunters possess, one that could change the war between riders and hunters. Lycanwing saliva. There was an ancient legend saying that whoever was bitten by the dragon would become one himself which hardly anyone had believed in before, but proof was there, except the myth was slightly different from the reality When Hiccup is captured by the hunters, His friends need to get him back in time before he becomes a test subject for the new weapon, but is it too late?

Snotlout and Hiccup are trapped, dragonless, on a wooded island far from help. Things aren't going too badly- Hiccup manages to get a distress message to the other riders- but then things go south when Snotlout eats toxic berries and gets extremely sick. Based off of the netflix series and movies. *I don't own HTTYD, just my writing.*

On that faithful night where Hiccup shoots down toothless, Astrid shoots down another fury. Except it's white. Hiccup and Astrid train the night fury, and the light fury. But all good things must come to an end. They both come first in dragon training. When they enter the ring to try and tame the nightmare to show Berk that dragons aren't bad, they don't listen. The nightmare goes crazy. Hiccup and Astrid almost die. But the two fury's save them. Then they get caught. They are put on trial and get banished. Their parents disown them also. When they leave, they get thrown insults. After 6 years of being free, they end up being in the place they despise the most. Things don't end well for them. This story will not be a series. Just one book.

Nine years later still on her own with Litchwing, never staying in one place, making friends and more then a few enemies all over the archipelago, avoiding the dragon hunters the best she can so she doesn't get caught by them, meaning always lurking in the shadows because she's a wanted dragon rider in their eyes. Due to always lurking in the shadows, means easily tracking and getting information, then going and helping the ones who need helping, saving the ones who need saving and flying off into the sky after her deed is done. One day she gets caught in the act by one of the dragon hunters, she has to dig her way out of the situation in order to fly free without revealing her identity, which causes her more trouble then expected. Title means 'you can't run from your past forever' in latin. The girl was always different. Daughter of a chief, but never liked due to being born a girl, most just expected her to be around long enough for the heir competition when she came of age, the one she would enviably lose to one of her older brothers. The girl was used to being ignored by her tribe. Her only friends were the younger of her brothers and a Deadly Nadder she secretly trained. However, when the girl wins the competition and become heir, her tribe is suddenly interested in her, and not in a good way. It becomes worse with her father's death a year later. After a year of being chief, dodging not so subtle assassination attempts (most done by her oldest brother) she fakes her death and flees. The girl learns of a tribe inside the Barbaric Archipelago that befriended dragons, and she make her way there. On that island, Berk, she joins the Riders. The girl puts her past behind, not telling anyone that she is a former chief. Three years past in a blur, and she is happy. But the discovery of a device, a device that her tribe believed to be lost, threatens to bring her secrets to light. Who is this girl you may ask? However, recently, he's questioning his place, not just on Dragons Edge, but also on Berk. He questions his trust, and friendships, with the Dragon Riders. Especially Hiccup. When Viggo makes him an offer, Snotlout decides to take it. But how can Snotlout make amends with his old friends, after betraying them? WARNING!!!! This is a head canon story, Snotlout betrayal isn't canon.
