A tan man dressed in baggy pants and a cloak, with white long hair spoke. "How?" A young boy asked sitting in front of the man gazing at his light blue tribal like tattoos. "When the time comes." "You better not be lying." The young boy said a bit angrily. "Why would I do that?" "Because you always tell me to stay here, away from everyone else, while you go and do stuff I dunno about." The young boy pouted, crossed his arms and faced the opposite direction. "Okay. I'll make you a deal." The man stood up, catching the young boy's attention. "If, I mean if, you train hard enough..." That caught the young boy's attention. He faced the man as his dark blue eyes were filled with curiosity. "I'll think about teaching you some real difficult spells." "WHY AM I WASTING TIME?"The boy got up and ran straight to the forest, laughing like a mad mad man, then ran back. "Are you coming?" "Yeah." The man said as he walked deeper into the forest while the little boy followed. "You better train real hard kid." "Then you'll be here to correct me, right?" "To prevent you from accidentally burning yourself to death." "That means you can't leave me alone." The boy said, sounding happy. "Promise?" He held out his pinky. "You have to pinky promise." "Pinky promise." The man held out his pinky and made the pinky promise with the little boy. "Natsu taught me this while you were busy and he was really nice and seemed really happy too." The boy jumped up and smiled. The man couldn't help but smile back. Little did the boy know that their last moment together was approaching. ---Year X777--- "Acnologia..." The boy muttered as his blue and black tattered cloak moved freely in the wind, "You bastard."
