When Larry Daley returns for what he thinks is another routine night shift at the British Museum, he finds himself at the centre of a new and terrifying mystery. The magical Tablet of Ahkmenrah - source of life for the museum's exhibits - is decaying. But instead of weakening the exhibits this time, its corrosion turns on Larry himself. I am sitting here wondering why life lets you down in so many ways. having a beautiful soul can cost you so much. I give more than I take or want, to see someone else having a wonderful day is enough to make me smile. yet lately things have become dark for me. so many people have left me by choice or taken. its a lot to handle to understand . I have always tried to be there keep strong for those around me yet I fade daily my heart grows weak and my mind becomes enemies with in it's self. The voices are to much

this is about toxic and fake love. stuff you can't escape or stop thinking about. you want everything to work out but it never does. that's what love does to you. it ruins you.

Inspiration for this one is a right rich fusion and flavour of lots of different things. My parents were never too pushy but there was an element of feeling pressured to be good and out do what the younger version of you had achieved the previous year, to constantly move forward. I'm posting this one now as my sister is toying with the idea of making some big decisions that could effect her future a great deal, and may feel pressured to lean a certain way when deciding. Then the other muse for this poem was that I've always been prone to taking too much on (a bit like my Mum) and feeling overwhelmed as a consequence, torn in different directions, wanting to please a lot of different people in different ways and buckling under this pressure, spreading myself too thin and giving my commitments less quality effort as a result. Vicious circle. But as I've got older I've learnt, yes be selfless, help others, get involved, live life to the full, but to help others, you need to look after number one occasionally- meaning it's OK to say 'no', we're lucky enough to have options, opinions and choices. Freedom. Well before I babble on anymore- hope you enjoy the poem :)

She’s breaking. She’s breaking at the fucking crack, and sinking deeper and deeper into the pit of depression. It’s all too much. She can’t handle it for much longer. She’s snapping. She doesn’t want to snap, but she can’t stop it anymore. It just happens. She is snapping like a stick under someones foot. Everything that has happened in her life has led to this point. She is me; I am Hannah, and this is my life. Welcome, the exit is over there. You’ll probably want to leave soon like everyone else. I hope you enjoy your stay, and can get out of here sane unlike me.
