This is a story about the boy who my universe revolves around. The part about my universe revolving around him is completely coincidental- I didn't choose that, and he didn't actually intend to have this effect on me. It just happened when he started attending my high school as a sixteen year old boy in his senior year and ended up making everything revolve around him. He's insatiable. Tiny. Clever. "There you go again. Letting your head get the better of you." Becca's eyes shot to his. "You can't hold back like that, not if you want it to feel real." Her cheeks felt like they were on fire. Yes, she'd stopped. She knew. But he spoke like it was so simple, like she was just some amateur afraid of the stage. He had no clue what this felt like, that it wasn't the scene that made her chest tight. It was looking at him. She put a full foot of distance between them. "I know how to act, Boris!" He stood there, unmoved. "Then show me." Her nails dug into her palms. No. She wasn't going to let him break her. She pulled her shoulders back, took a breath, and planted her feet. This is the script I wrote in my yr 12 drama class for an assessment. Decided to put it on Wattpad, though I'm kiwi not Scottish and don't speak Gaelic so please by all means correct me if I'm wrong with phrases and feel free to add some pronunciation. Again this is what I submitted and we only had to write a 1 scene minimum.

This is my perspective of my fellow classmates though my eyes. This is based on all TRUE events. I will be protecting everyone's identity with fake names!

Maya wants to be a famous actress. Maya also has stage fright. It's kind of redundant that she's in the drama club. She's just a stand in and stage handle because her first audition was a disaster. She could barely get out the words. She locked up and ran away. Sam has no problem being the center of attention. He nails all the scenes and monologues. He's confident and fluid. She wishes she had his confidence. Envies it, even. He's a cocky, narcissistic pretty boy. The school sees him as the perfect specimen. Maya can see through his facade as he pulls off. His so-called charms seem fake. No one is that perfect. Sam loves the spotlight, all eyes on him, the applause. It makes him want to go on, as the saying goes. Maya was someone he sees as a background actor, where she belongs. He belongs on the center stage. One date between them meant nothing. He moved on. They barely spoke unless it's in drama club. One kiss meant nothing. He always wanted to know how she kissed. He got his answer. Their drama teacher has now partnered them up as acting buddies for the next play. That was the last thing she wanted. The more time she spends with him during rehearsals, the more she sees him, his dedication, his passion. He's mesmerizing. Sam sees a spark in her when it's the two of them. Sassy as she is, there is a vulnerable side she shares. She's falling for his charm. She's falling for him. But does he feel the same way? Is he playing the charm on her to get what he wants? She has to keep it in, she can't break character.

The unforseen and drama that Gerrard goes through just trying to face his feelings for Michelle is just mind blowing in a way that everyone would love to have a feel of. Does the hero always win? If so then how will he win the beat that brings his life worth living.
