Instead, she slipped away into the Muggle world with a new job, leaving her past behind her. Only, she never seemed to be able to run from her past for long. Hermione is faced with a choice; remain the good, strong Golden Girl she was admired for or hand over complete control to her worst nightmare; Draco Malfoy. The only problem was, it was hard to say no to Malfoy when he was her new boss.

After the war Hermione is in invited back to Hogwarts to complete her seventh year along with Harry, Ron, Ginny and Draco. Ron and Hermione end their relationship and decide to be friends. Hermione and Draco have to spend a lot of time together as head boy and girl. Everyone distrusts Draco but Hermione believes he can change. Hermione is troubled by the events of the war and both she and Draco have frequent nightmares driving the two of them almost to the point of insanity. All the characters that we've known and loved are now adults. Going back to Hogwarts after the war is weird. Especially now that former enemies have let bygones be bygones, but only through the Daily Prophet, not face to face. There is peace in the Wizarding World. However, people are still afraid to go back to Hogwarts, and maybe they've got a good reason to be.
