He is confused and what confuses him even more is that he lacks the knowledge of how to get a grip on himself in a situation like this. He doesn't know. For the first time in his life, Draco Malfoy tastes the feeling of not knowing. And it's bitter, it's so bitter that it burns. He loosens his tie before it chokes him even more. The sound of the water drowns his cries, his tears mixing with the water in the sink. "How am I... How am I supposed to do it...?" Choosing between love and survival is the worst. Especially when you do not own your own life. Draco is trapped, he is imprisoned with his own emotions. For the first time in his life he wants to be left behind, forsaken. Taking place at the time of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (except there are no kids) Hermione Granger, the Minister for Magic and Draco Malfoy, the Head Auror must work together to capture the final Death Eater running free. Bellatrix Lestrange. Hermione sees this mission as a way to give her peace. The Death Eater who tortured her would be behind bars and not doing harm to other innocent people. Draco sees it as a way for redemption and maybe some respect from the rest of civilization. (Being a former Death Eater was not a great thing to be on his record.) Especially after he lost the one person who accepted him for who he was and what he is now. Astoria Greengrass. But Draco wasn't the only one struggling with loss. Hermione had just lost Ron. He hadn't died, goodness no, just left. He lost his temper. Stormed out. Left her for good. She was lost. So was Draco. And they were alone. Both so alone. So maybe, the mission involving a Minister for Magic, a Head Auror, and a skilled Herobologist (For those who love Neville Longbottom, HE IS A MAIN CHARACTER!!!) will end up not only in success but also in something more.

War is over. Harry and Ron decided not to come back to Hogwarts leaving Hermione Granger alone. When things happen Hermione is left devastated and turns to her only hope Draco Malfoy. The unexpected friendship arose from the enemies. All is well until they start to fall for one another. What will happen?
