Seven years have passed since the Great War in the Wizarding World. The world is at peace and everything has gone back to normal. But not for some people. Hermione's life seven years after the war is nothing like how she imagined it while at Hogwarts. Her and Ron are no longer together and her work with house elves didn't amount to much. For six years, she's been living with a hole in her life. After being out of the country for years, Draco Malfoy returns to Wizarding UK. The world has changed and so has he. But are he and the world able to accept the radical changes that have been made in the past seven years? Will he be able to let an old friend back into his life after leaving behind who "Draco" used to be? Will the two be able to find happiness together after spending so much time apart? Or will they fizzle out, just like all relationships that are left alone for too long?

On the day of her last trip to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Hermione receives news that Harry Potter and Ronal Weasley won't be joining her in their (or now her) last year. Additionally, Draco Malfoy, the Great Bouncing Ferret, has become her class partner for the rest of the year. Will Hermione Granger, the Brightest Witch of Her Year, be able to handle Draco Malfoy, the Slytherin Prince? a/n: the first chapter is a little short, but the chapters following will/are longer and more detailed, so don't judge a book by its cover (or first chapter, as it is here the case)!

Hermione Granger needed a job because she had recently quit the Ministry due to it's corruptions; she obviously needed the money. This is how she found herself at Malfoy Industries, hoping she wouldn't have to see much of Draco Malfoy as she worked. His secretary completed all of the interviews as he was a busy man, she obviously received the job, her record impeccable. So when she was pushed into her new office which she shared with Draco Malfoy, simply being told she was his assistant and would have to do anything he asked of her, she was looked over by Draco, him giving an approving look at her tight blouse showing cleavage but not too much, and short skirt which came to just above her knee. He began asking questions of his own. Lets see how it will turn out...

Elitists, snobbish and downright evil don't even start to describe the Malfoys. But as the war approaches we learn that nothing is the way it seems on the outside.
