A story of two best friends who are sick of life and having to play by the rules. "Why don't we just Runaway?" Little did i know by saying those five words it could lead to such an adventure.

Drapetomania: an overwhelming urge to run away. After The War, the city of Waydale shut its borders to the outside wall, nothing could get in, nothing could get out. 100 years later and the once peaceful city has been turned into a government led dictatorship which has caused distress and upset amongst those living amongst The Walls. A levelling system determines how different citizens live their lives and many of the youth aren't happy about it. But with fear poured down their throats and guns barrels held to their heads, many of them have learnt to deal with the struggle. Apart from a group of 4 friends: the Presidents son, the Chief of Police's son, a teachers daughter and a shopkeepers daughter. These 4 have been friends since they were little. despite their parent's different rankings, they stayed close and now have a chance to change Waydale for the better.

All it started from getting into this life.

Y/n Miyo, Ever since she was a child, she had been a dreamer, but life's hardships had slowly killed her hopes. Each day felt like a continious battle, and the idea of running away or killing herself grew stronger within her, yet she couldn't bring herself to leave. Then, there was him-the boy who always visits the café where she worked. He had an unusual ability to read people, but his attempts to connect with her seemed pointless at first. Little by little, they became friends. One day, she opened up to him about her overwhelming desire to run away from a world she see cruel. In response, he asked questions that left her rethinking her choices. That night, she found herself thinking deeply: "If my top priority is running away or to disappear, why am I still here? Could it be that there's still something worth living for, something the universe is trying to show me but I can't see?" Her reflection motivated her to discover her purpose, yet despite her efforts, she struggled to find the reason.
