Life has been unfair o Radheye. "Hey Govind I heard about Angraj Karn's death.I dont know why but I feel morose and sad. I should be happy right? He called me a whore in the dyut sabha." Draupadi said. "You too called him a sutaputra sakhi. He is at fault surely but you know that you too have not been fair to him. That is the reason you feel sad. You feel guilty for the dead Radheye. Or is there anything else sakhi? Didnt you ever think about the consequences if you were married to Radheye Karn in the swayamvar?" Krishna asked with a smile. Draupadi was taken aback. Not once but every single moment of her life has been spent thinking about the alternate decision. What would have happened if she was married to Karn? She would have led a humble life . She looked at the high balcony in her chamber. The beautiful thought of giving up her life was possessing her mental stability. She couldnt handle so many complications. She will end her sufferings right now. She stepped towards the balcony. One more step and she would fall and her death will put an end to her pains and sufferings. As she was going to proceed she felt a sudden pull. Someone pulled her away from the balcony. Draupadi was taken aback. She landed on a strong chest and a pair of arms held her safely. She could feel her husband breathe close to her ear. Arjun was here. She couldnt help but smile. She turned around. The man before her frightened her. It was not Arjun. "What on earth do you think you were doing Panchali!" Karn exclaimed extremely disturbed and concerned. "Angraj...Its you" Draupadi said. She was disappointed. She expected Arjun. "How can you even think of ending your life Panchali!" Karn asked extremely anguished.

He questioned in a pleading manner. Karn was still looking at the boy's mother. Where had he seen her?! Suddenly it clicked! He had seen her in his dreams! She was the mysterious lady who visited him in his dreams every day! "I promise I will never leave you both alone again" Karn said as he pulled the boy in his arms his gaze still focusing on the woman.

"Never forget this, bhrata Karn," he said, his voice lowering, filled with an intensity that seemed to touch something deep within Karn's soul. "You are in me, and I am in you. Whatever is mine is yours, and whatever is yours is mine. Your enemies are my enemies, and your friends are my friends." Karn looked at him, though his expression remained tensed.
