Elliot Reid faces an emotional whirlwind when her brother, Frank, makes an unexpected visit to her apartment. The ones who sell their entire life to the hospital, and come out at the end of the year with their soul still in-tact. Edison Cooper has spent the last four years giving her all to medicine. She attended a medical school with cutthroat competition, fought her way to the top of her class, and came out at the end with a free ride to an internship at Sacred Heart Hospital... Which also just so happens to be the hospital where her half-brother, Dr. John Dorian, works as a doctor of internal medicine. Needless to say, it's going to be a long year at Sacred Heart.
