Dreadful Stories

A dreadful union is a short poem I wrote about hating someone so much, that you hope their insides rot. Enjoy!

Being alone..is not much fun. Is it? Well, what if you were alone when the world was ending? Nobody for hours..no internet..nothing..just yourself and the end of all humanity...

In a fog-shrouded field, a skull with a perfect circular cut in its crown begins to open, revealing something alive within.

An ancient mummy's jeweled ring, fused into its desiccated hand, carries a cursed power that consumes anyone who dares to claim it-leaving only whispers in the desert and vanished souls in its wake.

Inspired by Penny Dreadful, about the darkness that resides in humanity. What matters is the balance between light and dark.

A cursed axe buried with its murderous master still hungers for souls, binding weapon and skeleton together, waiting to rise and claim the living.

A bound corpse unearthed from the earth grins upward, its frayed wrappings straining as though the grave could no longer hold what once was buried alive.

An archaeological dig uncovers a perfectly preserved skeleton etched with strange symbols. As night falls, whispers rise from the soil, the markings shift, and the team begins to disappear-until only the bones remain, sitting upright, the earth beneath them beating like a heart.

This is a Days Union fanfiction about Y/N, a young woman, who after having a rough past, decides to move into the Final City, one of the safest places in the word. In this fanfiction, my goal is to portray the operatives as accurate as possible while having a silly story about someone moving into a new place.

A cursed braid that continues to grow from a dead woman's skull ensnares the living, feeding on fear and dragging its victims into the darkness it once served.

Evelyn and her friends have been receiving chainmail from an anonymous user and decide to ignore it. The user has threatened them in various ways, even threatened to kill others around them. The mysterious user has asked them to do terrible things. Whatever they do, it always seems to lead to death.

Story Outline: The story that we have chosen will be a mix between ACD's A Study in Scarlet and Showtime's TV-series Penny Dreadful. Dr. Watson has recently been wounded in battle in Afghanistan and is sent home due to his critical injuries. He ends up in London at the London Royal Hospital and soon after passes away. At the morgue works this peculiar man with the name of Sherlock Holmes, but he would rather be addressed as his alias "Frankenstein". He is a talented man in very strange areas of alchemy, what you would call a necromancer. Long has he waited for an opportunity to try out his experiment on a human carcass, and now he takes the chance. He has longed for the day when he will have a companion of his own to do his bidding, but also to be treated as a well-respected father. When the rebirth of Watson is successful Sherlock want to teach him as much as possible of all that he has to share, but Watson wants to see the outside world on his own. Sherlock is very reluctant towards this, but gives in as he feels that Watson would lose his respect in mere time. Watson appreciates every breath, every sound, and every step he takes in London, but as his face is revealed he does not get the same appreciation back from the people around. At this period of time word spreads around London about a gruesome murderer who leaves its victims in a bloody mess. It almost seems as a monster is about and soon Watson is suspected for the horrible actions. It is now up to Sherlock and Watson to solve this mystery to prove to the people of London that it is the content within an individual that makes the difference.

Harley is hopeful that coming to a new school will give her a new start. After telling her parents a huge secret, they'd packed up and made her move to Missouri, away from her friends and to a small town where nothing ever happens. When strange dreams start plaguing her every time she falls asleep, she starts to wonder if there is more to her parents reason for moving than just wanting to be closer to her creepy grandfather. Even though she's enjoying learning more about herself and making close friends, she can't shake the sense that something bad is just around the corner, ready to strike at any moment.
