Dream is the guardian of positivity, and Nightmare is the guardian of negativity. But, there is something Nightmare doesn't know about. No one knows about it except for Dream. Every time the multiverse has more negativity than positivity Dream is hurt. And if there is no positivity Dream will die.

"You can Trust me Dream...." Dream has been in prison for about 1 year and he has lost much hope as a person can have. So dream asked someone who he knows well to help him out with his problems even tho he doesn't like him at all. {Similar to the Dream SMP AU until the end of the Disc Saga, after that it's my Imagination taking the wheel :) }
