Dream is in prison. The prison he built for himself. Nightmare doesn't visit him as much but when he does, Dream can't help but question himself. And after weeks in prison, Dream commits. He comes back as a ghost. He doesn't remember much though but after running into Technoblade, Techno tries to ease his memory... Was Dream really such a bad person? Or was it just Nightmare controlling him?...

Clay (Dream), a 19 y/o man on his way to the University Of Brighton. On his way, he moves into an apartment just a few blocks away from his new college, the Apartment keeper, Nick (Sapnap) announces that he will be having a roommate, the catch is: he will be choosing one among 3 men, and will decide at the end of the month. Who are these men? One is by the name of George (GeorgeNotFound), lived in his parents house until he got kicked out and had to move in an apartment. Zak (Skeppy), he's a cashier at a local subway, and has barely enough pay to afford a house. And lastly, Darryl (BadBoyHalo) he works as a helper in Brighton Kindergarten for special kids, he is in fact also interested in gaming. Who will Clay choose? Perhaps it was a alternate reality he some how manage to avoid..? Nevermind that, let's just enjoy life how it is.. going on little adventures with his big old happy friend group of ghost hunting nerds with the support of his dad and his new mom, lisa.

Dream wasn't an idiot, despite what many assumed. She wasn't just all smiles, oblivious to how the people around her viewed her and used her. She knew how the villagers were. She knew how she was used, but she still helped because that's what she liked to do. That being said, that didn't mean it didn't hurt. It hurt knowing she was being used, especially when she loved helping people. She had feelings, too, and at times needed to be alone. It was at one of those times that she found some liquid negativity that was tinged gold. It was while she was expecting the liquid that it had launched itself at her, merging with her. She had been worried, but at first, besides a few physical changes, nothing seemed wrong. Then she started to hear things. It was distant, and only around when she was upset but easy to ignore. As time went on, it would get louder or more frequent, but nothing that couldn't be described as paranoia. Then she started to see things in the corner of her eyes. A shadow flickering, a whisp of smoke, or maybe something out of the corner of her eyes. She had assumed she was stressed and thought nothing of it. It would go away once she got a break. That was before she met a gooped version of herself one night as she went to sleep. Shattered, it called itself. They had been dying when she found them, and now they were merged, sharing a body. He wanted control, but so did she. It had become a battle of wills.... who would win? Her? or Shattered?

You see, soulmates existed. In this world, you only dreamed of your soulmate once you turned eighteen. Even then, it was up to the fates if you could dream of them right away or wait up to years at a time. And even then, the dreams weren't constant or even of their current doings, so you had to play a guessing game. Call it fates cruel deeds. So how was Steve suppose to find his soulmate, this spitfire soldier who decided he was going to take on a terrorist group for kidnapping his dog and one of his best friends? And how was he going to even be able to /dream/ about him when he had Insomnia?

The first time he sees the boy, it is as simple as a reassuring flash of green across a vast expanse of darkness of the yellow sky. It should not be something he remembers so vividly, but he does.
